This is the prototype for the set-necks I'm building now.
Scale Length: 35" Weight: 10lbs.
Neck: 3 piece maple
Fretboard: Goncalo alves, paua markers
Body: White ash with a quilted maple top and wenge veneer
Hardware: Hipshot ultralight tuners and an ETS tuning fork bridge
Electronics: Seymour Duncan Basslines ASB-6 active phase I pickups and a STC-3/ 3-band preamp
Neat bits: The inlay at the neck joint is a "tomoe" cut from paua abalone heart and the inlay between the pickups is the kanji character for music cut from black mother of pearl.
