This is the 1st Barbary single cutaway I made.
Scale Length: 35" Weight: 11lbs.
Neck: 5-piece maple set neck w/ wenge veneers
Fingerboard: Paduak with maple fretlines and mother of pearl markers, high gloss epoxy coat
Body: Curly maple top w/ wenge veneer over an ash body
Hardware: Hipshot ultralight tuners and an ABM bridge (16mm spacing)
Electronics: Seymour Duncan Basslines ASB-3ASB / 3-band STC active pickup & pre-amp for 6-string fretless
Neat bits: The inlay between the pickups was supposed to be a "manaia" but ended up looking more like a seal...seals are cool too; mop, red abalone, mother of pearl, gold mother of pearl and paua. All covers attach magnetically.
