This is the prototype for the Marozi bolt-ons I'm building now.
Scale Length: 35" Weight: 9.25lbs.
Neck: 3 piece maple and wenge
Fretboard: Wenge w/ paua markers
Body: Mahogany with a shedua top
Hardware: Hipshot ultralight tuners and an ABM Piezo bridge (18mm)
Electronics: Seymour Duncan Basslines ASB-5 active phase I pickups and a STC-3/ 3-band preamp
Neat bits: The inlay on the upper bout is an idea i got from looking at tribal tattoo art. It's Mother of pearl and a wee bit of turquoise. This is the first bass with the bass clef inlay under the bridge which i have made standard now. BLDesign.us waterslide decal on neck joint. Matching knobs by Roger of THGknobs.com
