● Top & Back: Spalted myrtle burl, sequentially cut from the same burl.
● Body: White Ash with wenge accent lines
● Neck: 9-piece curly maple set neck w/ wenge & maple veneer
● Fretboard: Wenge with curly maple binding & oval paua abalone markers
● Hardware: Hipshot Ultralite tuners & an ETS Tuning Fork bridge. The bridge has piezo saddles & is engraved with the BLDesign logo.
● Pickups: Nordstrand Dual Coils w/series/single coil/parallel switches for each pickup
● Preamp: Bartolini mag/piezo buffer, Aguilar OBP-3 preamp with an active bypass and mute/battery cut switch.
● Bling: Continuous pickup covers with exposed pole pieces. Continuous electronics cavity cover. Headstock & truss rod cover are bookmatched myrtle burl. Covers attach magnetically.
"Ramona" is inlaid on the back of the headstock in paua abalone. Paua "B-logo" & bass clef inlay. Wooden knobs made of myrtle burl, wenge & curly maple with paua markers.
